To renew your membership or to become a new member of the Robert S. Hartman Institute, you must (1) submit a Membership Application form and (2) pay annual dues of $65.00 per year.
To obtain a copy of the Membership Application/Renewal form, please click here. Please print out the form, fill it out, and mail it along with your check for annual dues to:

To print the form without printing your whole computer screen, you may need to click on the printer icon on the right at the bottom of the Applidation form.
Any address and contact information changes occuring during the year should be sent to Darlene Clark at: darlene@darleneclark.com .
Annual dues of $65.00 cover the calendar year. However, persons joining the Institute for the first time between June 1 and August 31 must pay only $40.00 for the remainder of that calendar year, and persons joining between September 1 and December 31 must pay only $27.50. Thereafter, everyone pays full membership dues of $65.00 per year, due in January of each year. All memberships also cover a subscription to the JOURNAL OF FORMAL AXIOLOGY:THEORY AND PRACTICE. Subscribers outside the United States must add an additional $10.00 per issue to help cover the cost of postage.
Please make your checks payable to the "Robert S. Hartman Institute". Payment may also be made using PayPal; however, the member must increase the payment by 2% in order to cover the PayPal charges to RSHI. For example, your annual membership of $65.00 is $66.30 if paid using PayPal. Members will need to authorize PayPal to charge $66.30 to their credit card. Directions for using PayPal are listed below.
PAY ON LINE BY "PAYPAL" AND CHARGE IT TO YOUR CREDIT CARD
Anyone may now pay annual dues, etc. using PayPal and have it charged to your credit card, BUT YOU MUST ADD AN EXTRA 2 PERCENT TO YOUR PAYMENT TO COVER PAYPAL FEES. To pay anything to the Hartman Institute using PayPal, you have to open your own account with them if you do not have one already.Just follow these steps:
1. Go to the PayPal website: http://www.paypal.com/.
2. Either log in or sign up as a new member.
3. At the top of their page, click on their "Send Money" button.
4. Fill in the form that comes up. Most of it is self-explanatory, but you need two bits of information:
"Recipient's Email": fill in: "darlene@valuepartnersconsulting.com"
"Note": In the box, write what the payment covers. It may cover any of the following.
Membership Dues
Contributions to the Institute
Registration fee for Annual Meeting
Fees for Seminars, Courses, etc.
Indicate any other reasons for payment
5. Having done the above, hit "Continue" at the bottom of the page and finish the transaction.
6. After finishing with PayPal, please write or e-mail Darlene Clark and tell her what you have done so that she can keep all the records straight.

1. You may attend, participate in, and make presentations at our annual conferences, usually held in October of each year.
2. You will be listed on the "Membership Directory" page of this website.
3. You may be eligible to be listed on the "Consultants in Good Standing" page of this website. Go to that page for information about additional requirements.
4. You may use and do research in the Hartman Archives of the Special Collections Library at The University of Tennessee. Go to the "Research Topics" page for more information about the contents of these archives.
5. You become a part of a network of scholars and consultants who can help you.
